Just so you guys know, on Friday we'll be heading to Nashville to take part in the anniversary leather run held by the Conductors, Nashville's sole levi/leather club. I have to be back at work first thing in the morning on Monday, so the best chance for anyone to meet up with us will be while we're at the Chute on Friday and Saturday nights. Wi-fi permitting, I'll be in touch through my iOTT--er, iPAQ--and my celly. It's weird to think that we've been coming to this run now for over ten years, except for a few when we've gone to Blue Max's run in St. Louis, which is held in February, instead.

Also, recently we got ourselves a new violet wand kit. It's been long overdue, since mine's literally an antique, from the early 20th century, and I've been loathe to use it for any period of time for fear of it giving up the ghost or the wiring shorting out due to age. Now only is the brand new one specifically made for play, it also looks like absolutely nothing's been changed in how these things are designed. The two glass mushroom attachments for my old one fit quite snugly into the new and work just as well. Strange!
